There is no account here, so there is not much about you to collect. This page says what we store when you pack a box, who can see it, and how to get it removed.

No account, no profile

You do not sign up to use LittleCareBox. There is no password, no profile and nothing to log into. We never ask for your name or your email address in order to let you pack a box — the names you write on the box label are part of the gift, not an account.

Before you seal a box

While you are still packing, the box lives in your own browser. Nothing you have added has reached us yet. If you close the tab before sealing, that half-packed box stays on your device and we never see it.

What we store when you seal

Sealing a box sends it to us. We keep the sender and recipient names you wrote on the label, the theme and the language you chose, the caption on each thing, any note text or link you pasted, and the photo, audio or video files you uploaded. We keep them for one reason: so the person you send the link to can open the box.

The link is the key

A sealed box has no password. Its address carries a long random token, and that token is the only thing standing between the box and everyone else. Whoever holds the link can open the box — so send it to the person it is for, and do not post it anywhere public. Anyone who comes across the link can open what it points to, and once a link is out in the open we have no way to control who does. Keeping it between you and the person it is for is the one thing only you can do.

Boxes stay out of search

Every box page tells search engines not to index it, and our robots file asks crawlers not to fetch box addresses at all. When a box link is pasted into a chat app, the preview card shows a generic LittleCareBox message — never the names on the label, never a caption, never anything you uploaded.

What we record about opening

We store the moment a box is first opened and a count of how many times it has been opened. That is a timestamp and a number attached to the box itself. We do not attach it to whoever opened it, and we do not build a profile of the recipient.

Payment

Payment runs through Stripe. Card details go to Stripe directly and never reach our servers — we ask Stripe for a checkout page and you enter everything there. If you give Stripe an email address at checkout, Stripe holds it; we use it only to match a payment to a box.

We do not email you

There is no mailing list. Nothing on this site signs you up for one, and we send no marketing email — in the ordinary case we do not have an address to send it to.

Having a box deleted

Because there is no account, we cannot look up what you made unless you tell us which box you mean. Send us the box's link at [email protected] and we will delete the box and the files inside it. We keep sealed boxes for as long as the service runs; there is no fixed deletion window yet, and when we set one it will be written on this page.

Changes to this page

If any of the above changes, we change this page and the date at the top of it. We do not keep an archive of earlier versions.
